i just got that 89 RS and its showing three codes, 32,34,44. im thinking MAF. car runs great for the first five minutes and then starts to stutter, no miss, just a little hesitation. any ideas? thanks guys.

 

32 is an EGR fault. 34 is MAF sensor "Low" error. 44 is O2 system showing engine running "Lean". Check your MAF system for problems and get the engine running properly before you go and try to tackle the EGR problem.

 

ill pull the egr and clean it, same with maf. plugs and wires are about 5 years old, i might replace those as well.

 

you ever figure out this problem? I have an 89 v6 with same symptoms. Cars runs great while its running. Its during stop lights at idle that car hesitates and idle is steady for most part but drops drastically to near stall when ac condenser kicks on. let me know thanks
