Wiring Harnesses!
Basically I want to know the differences in wiring harnesses between 88 V8 Camaro and a 91 V6 Camaro.
Are the interior harnesses the same?
Im betting that the engine harness is different, but maybe it isn't?
I know the 91 has air bags, so is that the only interior harness difference?

Re: Wiring Harnesses!
88 MAF and 91 SD harnesses are worlds apart, there will be alot or re-pinning to make the harnesses compatible then the matching ECM would have to be used
Any particular reason you're swapping harnesses?

Re: Wiring Harnesses!
Just bought an 88 to replace my rusted out 91. Yesterday I brought it home.... ya, the internal wiring harness is way different... and the 88 has manual windows and locks. Since I'm gonna be dropping the 91 engine in the 88, I'm gonna need interior and exterior harnesses I think.
Re: Wiring Harnesses!
Interior options are a non-issue as far as the harness is concerned
Differences come from pinout changes and schematic changes
Why not just drop the 91 motor in and use the 88 harness on it?

Re: Wiring Harnesses!
The 88 is a V8. I'm throwing in my 3.1 and turbocharging it. I know you'll say its easier to swap in another V8, but I just grabbed everything I need for a T5 conversion for a V6. Unless I could somehow mate my 94 V6 T5 to a V8, which I dont believe you can... So i'll be dropping in the V6, so the V6 harness must be used.
