2.8 to 3.4 swap question

ok I'm still new and can't seem to find what I am looking for when searching or even find threads about this.

I have read the threads How to do the 3.4 long block swap Boogie! and Dales 3.4 swap tech artical.

but I didn't see a clear answer on if you have to change any of the 2.8 wiring harness with the 3.4 harness?

if it was there I must of missed it, and sorry if this question hase been asked a million times.

Also can I bore a 3.4 and stroke it out? would I need bigger injectors or would the stock 3.4 ones work?

Thanks for any help.

Carl

Re: 2.8 to 3.4 swap question

If you reuse the stock manifold/sensors you don't need to change the wiring, you can bore it out (-this is a repair proceedure, not performance-) if needed, there's no stroker cranks out there for it but you could have it offset ground if you really want to and you won't need larger injectors.

Re: 2.8 to 3.4 swap question

On the smog stealth swap, you keep your factory harness.

I have done a system where you swap the harness and ecm. Not worth the effort on an already MPFI engine.
