Which Valve Springs?
I'm going to be taking apart the top end of my camaro in the coming weeks. Going to add some performance, too. Well, I can't figure out which valve springs to get.
Which ones would work best (for my money) with 1.6 rocker arms?

The first one is just the valve springs with 308 lb/in.
The second is a kit with valves, lifters, and retainers; 378 lb/in.

Re: Which Valve Springs?
Valve springs are matched to the camshaft to select, what are you installing?

Re: Which Valve Springs?
It's the stock camshaft. Will be doing that later when I have a little more money.
I don't have much money, but the clyinder heads need new gaskets, and thought I would replace a few things, that I can afford, which I'm sure need to be replaced soon.
I was going to get the camshaft, headers, valves, rockers, pushrods, lifters, etc....but needed to spend money on something else. So now I have to pick and choose. Still doing price comparison.

Re: Which Valve Springs?
What about with this cam, or one with similar specs like from Delta (since they are cheaper in price)?

I'm trying to budget build this. I don't need an over the top performance, just a little more "go" for a little more mpg and excitement in daily driving (ie: corners/on ramps).
Any help will be much appreciated.

Re: Which Valve Springs?
If I'm going through the *** pain of a cam swap, I'd spend $30 more for a noticable difference.

Re: Which Valve Springs?
I haven't decided on which cam yet, i'll probably have Delta make a custom one for me. Calling them tomorrow and see what springs, lifters, etc they have/recommend, and check their pricing.
But it says that comp cam isn't computer compatible. Need 112 lob separation, don't I?
