Selling my Camaro(3.4L project) - $600
Hey guys, it's been a long time since I've been here... life has moved on(bought a house, namely). I've been wrestling with the decision to sell my baby for a while, and I think it's probably the best decision.
The body is 100% rust-free. It was a lifelong Arizona vehicle. '87 sport coupe with a 2.8 and 700R4, originally. The auto trans is still there, but the engine has a freshly built 3.4 with the S10 Blazer cam in it. Engine has under 20 miles. The car has been parked since October. It does not currently run(something with the fuel system... it's flooding out). Engine ran great for the first 20 miles until it flooded... I think the injectors may have gone or something. The interior is nothing special, but is black on black with no back seat. Engine bay has had the most work, with a lot of tidying up and removing excess equipment. No AC(heater box only), no smog. EGR is still there. Car is throwing no codes. Engine was professionally built by B&R Automotive out of Knoxville, TN. I have the paperwork for everything that was done(block was acid dipped, honed, pistons were also cleaned and verified to be balanced. Crank was polished, heads were rebuilt with new, stock internals. Rear end is a 3.42 open diff and drum brakes. Really, the body and the engine is what makes this vehicle worth it. Oh, also has the prototype Pacesetter headers. They work fine.
Also comes with other goodies.. a rebuilt 2.8L that will need new mains(installed undersized main bearings), a Truleo intake and tons of random parts that have come off the vehicle.
Will consider shipping to members in good standing, as long as buyer arranges all shipping and payment at time of pickup(bank certified check, bank-drawn cashiers check, etc only). I'm thinking $600 for the entire car? Car is located in Knoxville, TN 37920.
Will have more pictures up later. Here's a whole car shot for now: http://junk.downindixie.net/DSCN0393.JPG (green interior is no longer there)

Might be better off posting this in the classifieds section, most people are here to chat it up about v6 related stuff as opposed to buying.

That's gone, too, actually. Thought it looked like crap, so I ripped it off and left it in the nearest dumpster about a week after buying it.
Because it will get buried and lost under all the v8 guys. Anyone interested in buying a v6 is more likely to also read the v6 forum. With how much traffic the classifieds get, a v6 project car will get lost very quickly. If the mods really would rather it go there, then so be it(mods: move it, but leave a link please?)

Re: Selling my Camaro(3.4L project) - $600
I really, really, really want.
And, I could probably have the money by next friday.
The only thing is..what would happen to my own 3.4l project? I've got the block already *sigh*..can't I have 3 cars? >_<
And how would it be shipped to Louisiana?
This is a mind ****.

Re: Selling my Camaro(3.4L project) - $600
I don't really care about the car I'm more interressted in the 3.4 and the 2.8 . I would like to put the 3.4 in my car and pullthe 2.8 out of my womans car and drop the 2.8 you have rebuilt in it and I would put my 2.8 out of my car in the Camaro and sell it .

The 2.8 I have rebuilt will need the main bearings pulled and replaced still. It's apart and shouldn't be much of an issue, though. The heads are off of it, so the bores might need a quick honing(I'll look at it and see how they're looking, since it's just been sitting in my basement).
