strange 2.8 accel problem

ive got the 6 cyl 2.8 (less horsepower than you can shake a stick at). And knowing this I dont expect the car to have b@lls to the wall horsepower. but when i put my foot into it from a total stop the revs drop and the car bogs down... also when im going a decent speed (65-70) which takes forever to reach... the car "bucks" and the power fades in and out ever so slightly... i dont think its water in my gas (ive heard that before) cause ive filled the tank up 20 or 30 times and always have the same result... the engine runs better with a high grade fuel but thats a given. and it dosnt solve the problem. HELP??!!

Re: strange 2.8 accel problem

...not to bash you but high grade fuel wont make a difference in "feel" inless your car is tuned accordingly...now onto your problem...

I would do a full tune up first to get a good base line...instead of me typing the same post for both threads...you seem to have the same basic problem as another thread...click below for the thread and read what i wrote...

and like always...

Happy Tuning!
