No power at full throttle
once my 86 2.8 auto gets up to operating temperature, if the transmission down shifts (usually to second) and the engine rpms go to three grand of more the car looses all power and feels like its engine breaking. if i have the gas pedal floored and i let off the car will accelerate until it up shifts again which takes about two seconds so i dont have the ability to get past 40 mph in any decent amount of time.

I could barely get mine to get passed 3000rpm or about 25-30mph when I had the spark wires all messed up lol, have you messed with that lately?
