2.8 horsepower increase

OK people kind of new to this whole thing so help me out. I have 2 extra 2.8 blocks that I have to play with as well as one in the car. It is a 88 camaro 5 speed. My goal is for a sleeper. Single or twin turbo, but need to beef up the motor first What are my options. also where can I get it or have it done.
Thank ya much

Re: 2.8 horsepower increase

What are your power goals? A hybrid will really get better results out of that, iron heads and stock intake manifolds aren't that great. As for building the block, unless you're looking for an RPM increase also, the stock bottom end can probably take 400 if its in good shape, stock connecting rods are forged, crank is pretty strong for the late year v6s(85+). Really if you do anything you should make the engine flow better via porting what you have or hybrid.

3x00 top end, 3500 crank and forged pistons should get you where you want to go.
