just how difficult would it be to put a 350 into my 1990 camaro RS? there plenty of room I wouldnt think it would be a problem fitting everything.

 

Check the sticky at the top of this section. From what I have read, you need to swap the front springs, and struts, get new motor mounts and move them to a new location, a new radiator and i'm sure I have forgotten something. Check the sticky and do a search on it.

3.1s dont need new radiator but rest is true=O

 

I didn't realize you had the 3.1. I wasn't sure about it. Everything I have seen is the best way is to find a V8 parts car to pull from. Good luck.

 

If you're unhappy with your V6, sell it to someone who will appreciate it and Buy an 8 to start with. It's not like 305's or 305's are hard to find. With all the money and time you'll spend engine swapping then working out all the bugs, you could be well into modifying a car that started with a V8.
