Brake booster?
ok so i was changing the vac lines on my 90 rs 3.1 v6 and i broke the connector to the brake booster (its like a black ball with a single line going into it) of course im geussing thats what it is. would it hurt anything if i just cap it off instead of spending a stupid amount of money on a new one? because i capped it and it seems to run the same. what exactly does this "ball" do?

Re: Brake booster?
If you're talking about the thing mounted under the driver's side battery tray, it's just a vacuum tank and you don't really need it for too much. You can get away with just not putting a line in it. Try getting one from a junkyard if you're really wanting to replace it. Thing is, it's really hard to get at the bolts...
However, if you're talking about the check valve on the brake booster, it can be replaced. Just pry it out and put a new one in. They can be bought at parts stores (or they should be able to be bought, anyways).
