hey all, what is the proceedure for replacing injectors? i only have 2 bad injectors, do i move the clips on top of the injectors to get them out, or can i replace just one or two without taking them all out? any advice would be great thanks

Re: injector removal

you should be able to just move the clips around to get them out, however on mine i had to break them off to get my injectors out. they were pretty stuck in there after 15 years lol

you have to pull the fuel rail out but only have to pull out the injectors that are bad

Re: injector removal

well it runs, but now it seems to backfire every so often. the first time it happened, it was loud as hell and it puffed out a big cloud of smoke. lol, all the traffic behind me backed way off. anyone have any idea what might cause this? also is it safe to drive it this way? hate to ruin motor
