m90 tbirds intercooled?

Been looking at the M90 superchargers from t-birds, and trying to figure out why they have 3 pipes, and the only thing I can think of is that the tbirds have intercoolers from the factory?? Can anyone confirm that for me? Trying to get a handle on what I would have to do to use one..I've got just about everything else thought out.

Pocket put a M90 on his LM7, non-intercooled. So, I don't think you have to. Me and you are in the same boat, I'm picking one up from the JY this weekend.

Not what I'm asking....below 6 psi of boost intercooling generally is not necessary, even with turbos, but what I am wondering is wtf the other two pipes on them are for, the one is for the throttle body, that part I get, but the only thing I can think of for the other two is intercooler, but I wouldn't think they would have one factory....
Edit: google ftw

Re: m90 tbirds intercooled?

I think I have an idea how to modify the intake to work, thinking you could cut the runners on the stock MIM, and bend them inward such that the ports were sideways facing inward, weld in some metal to close the gap and seal up the outer side, then fab up a sheet metal box to connect the runners to the middle, with the SC bolting right on top, I thought about just cutting a hole in the UIM but there is no way in hell it would clear a stock hood, or I think even my aftermarket one.
Basically instead of the runners coming up with the ports facing up, turn it into a U bend, with them facing in... I think it would work pretty well, I'll have to ask my buddy if he thinks he could weld good enough to do that...

Re: m90 tbirds intercooled?

Ok its absolutely amazing, how stupidly difficult it is to find out pipe is the intake and which is the outtake.... if anyone could tell me the full route of the flow that would be awesome, the only two I know for sure is that it enters at the throttle body and eventually winds up exiting to the intake manifold on the square bottom, but I don't know which pipe on the right side sends air to the intercooler, and which brings it back to the supercharger, the one on top, and the one in the back, both on the right side, are the two I am hung up on...
Also realized modifying the LIM won't help/work because it would still have to clear the fuel rail, also curious about something, can the supercharger feed the final flow/boost directly to the throttle body like a turbocharger, or does the throttle body have to be the first point of intake?
