What do you guys.........
...think about the MSD 6A?
A friend has one said he would let me have it for $100.00.It's been on his car for about 3 months.
He works on the river so he is gone for about a month at a time.So technicly it has been used for about 2 months.
Would this be a wise purchase?

$100?! Hell yeah!
You can cut & splice the factory wires for free- actually, wait, you have the Accel remote Supercoil? You can re-use it's plug-in harness. The MSD has two wires going to the GM harness- a white wire (spark signal from module) and a red wire (from ignition switch). Both of those equate to the + and - of your Accel coil.
Of course you'll have to find a spot to mount it!
I say get it.. it's definately worth it. If he still has the receipt that's even better, I think the MSD's have a warrantee.
My car feels stronger with the MSD box on, and I'm going to a junkyard today for that MAF sensor harness. After it's on, I'll really be able to tell!

Now this is according to Summit Racing's prices, but..
Before my girl said she'd get me the box, I was debating between the 6A and 6AL. The 40 bux is justified- bought by themselves, anti-vibe mounts are $20, and a rev-limiter is $20. There's the $40 more. I'm not sure if a rev-limiter can be added to the 6A, tho.. MSD's tech support would know.
