NON 3rd Gen Help ?
I have a 2000 Mazda truck that ever since I put in Mobil 1 Synthetic at startup it dosen't show oil pressure.. I shutthe car off and restart and all is okay.. Any ideas? Is it the Synthetic oil like they say and the sensors are screwing up?

My mom runs synthetic in her '98 Z28, and my dad in his '95 Grand Prix GTP and '75 MG. All of these cars show normal oil pressure all the time. When I used to use it in mine, it always read normal too.

Could it be possible the oil is to thin for the pump to pick up quickly?
Or maybe a fualty sensor.you wouldn't think so on a 2000 model.
