Dynomax Exhaust

Well the exhuast is installed and run in. The car sounds great. Mellow rumble to about 3000rpm, gets alil "tinny" above but it does sound better and more like a 8 in the morning and with a light foot. BUT, it feels like the power it had went away. Doesn't feel as quick... I am thinking back pressure? or, lack there of now? did note tho the gas mileage went up... thats a bonus. anyone else notice this loss of pep when they did there exhaust? not a big deal as i got parts to put on to fill the pipes but man.... i'm not ready to do that yet.....

FYI:
Backpressure has gone down, thats why it feels slower, cuz torque pulls u off the line, and less backpressure means less torque...ALSO...Less Backpressure HURTS your gas mileage so ur MPG actually went down...

When I had mine installed I also got a new converter, HIGH Flow put on. It sounded better and when I took it to the track the numbers were better in the 330 and 1/4. I also thoughtt on the highway I was getting slight better miles as I cruised around at 70ish

I've always heard/read you can never relieve enough backpressure from a Camaro cause of the poor exhaust design. Also, two outlets on the same side of your muffler are better than anything. I have a Dynomax on my 87 2.8, Sounds much better, I hate that V-6 Twang.
