I am alive...

Well guys I haven't been on the boards in a long time. After they were down I lost the habit of checking them and with school and all I've been busy. I'll try to get on here more now, but I'm out and about alot. If you need some advice on topics I know, like the 3.4L swap feel free to e-mail. pods8@hotmail.com

Some interest to you guys I buried my 86' silverado with 31"s, in a huge bog, it was stuck for 11 days, and had to be highjacked out and pulled with two trucks in tandom. I'm out $180 for new bearings, seals, diff fluids and seals, rear brakes(had a cylinder bust) and trans fliter kit(the fluid is burnt). Fun stuff! All in the nice warmth of michigan tech in the good old U.P.!

Later all.

Well actually my car ain't going anywhere since it is in my garadge 450mi away... insurance is too high and the weather is too ****ty to bring it up here for the winter. Never made it out to the track, was planning on it in the later summer but got real busy dealing with that parts car, tuning up my truck, work, packing, etc. and then blew out my tranny mount. I have another one at my house but I didn't get a chance to put it on yet. Over thanksgiving and christmas breaks I plan on pulling out the tranny cause I need a new tailshaft(the torque arm mount is stripped) and I want to check some of the gears that are getting a bit stiff, I have another tranny for parts that lost 1st gear so I definately have a tailshaft and mount from that, we'll see what shape the gears may be in??? Eventually I still am planning on 3.73 posi, ported heads, headers, 1.6 rockers, and 90hp nitrous. The budget shall tell on that. Later all.
