Oil leaking on exhaust pipe

I've got a small oil leak coming from the vicinity of the oil pressure sender (if that's what it's called) that's dripping on the exhaust and, of course, creating some smoke and making me nervous. Also, there's some other sensor (?) located right next to the sender, but I'm not sure which is which. They're located directly above the oil filter; one has one small wire going to it and the other has two larger wires going to it. Which one's the sender and what's the other one for? I want to replace the sender because my oil pressure is reading too high, even after a recent oil change. I'm sure the actual pressure is ok because it's a new (2.8) engine.

Also, any idea what is costs for a new sender?

Thanks in advance...

i got a brand new 2.8L too, and when it came home i had a leak coming from the Oil Pressure Sensor and it was hitting the exaust pipe and giving me a lot of white smoke, which made me embarrased to drive the car. The guy who put the motor in went ahead and changed the sensor after i told him about the leak. So, i'd say that's your problem, just change the sensor out, also is it the orignial sensor, because mine was 15 years old.

It probably is the original sensor 85f-bird, by the looks of it (previous owner had the new engine installed right before I bought it). The leak seems to be getting worse too. Is that other sensor next to it the knock sensor (do V6s have knock sensors)?

not a clue buddy, actually i didn't even notice another sensor, but if i look hard enough i'll find it. But that turned out to be the problem with mine, i noticed it because the only time the car leaked is when it was running, But also, it became embarassing to drive my thirdgen around town with it smoking, especially since it still has 2 layers of wax on it.
