All i had to do was hold the gas pedal down and it starts ht just fine.

Wow! And here i am thinking a bunch of things are wrong.
Still "smokes on start up" maybe i should put some Rislone or "No smoke" in there. hopefully, that stops doing that with the grey smoke,a plume for a few minutes then it stops and doesnt return.
So, no issue with the car
flooring the gas makes it start. Should i spray "Carb/choke cleaner" up top anyway? or leave it be ?
Oh and should i "Seafoam" the car and let it suck up the 1/3 and then shut it RIGHT OFF and then sit for how ling ? does this help through the brake booster line?

Don't use Rislone or any of that other crap. Like I said in your other thread, you don't have an oil problem with the rings and such, or it would smoke BLUE smoke ALL of the time (unless the problem was the valve guides/seals, at which case the engine would produce the SBC typical BLUE cloud at startup). I'm more than willing to bet that since you floored the pedal to get the engine to start (which increases air flow to the cylinders and cuts off fuel), you've got a choke problem. Use some sort of cleaner all around the carb (and the whole engine as well, for that matter), cleaning EVERYTHING except the wiring connectors and spark plug wires (probably brake clean would be best) to make sure none of the linkages and such are getting gummed up with dirty greasy crap. A clean engine runs better than a dirty one.
BTW, you don't need to make a new thread every time something pops up...
