sounds good...except for i dont think the 3.4 could stand 10psi unless u put 2k into that motor...more like 6-7 is what it could take

For a stereo system worth copying (at least, I know I am), check out scauffiel's page. In terms of how to mount and hide, this man has got the plan. The pics are pretty good, but I'm still not quite sure how he fit it all on there.

well if i were u i wouldn't put 6X9's in ur sail pannels. i donno what GM was thinking when they put them in there but they were smoking something b/c the space in there is too small to get good bass reproduction. i know from expererience $200 on 6x9 just to get tweeter out of them. go to a stereo shop and have them make a plate to fit 5 1/4 separates......beleive me u'll be alot happier. and for the components go w/either Alpine DDD components or PPI.

the 3.4L will stand from 6-9psi of boost maximum, unless you run an air-water intercooler (and then maybe you could get 12psi) but an air to air might get you 10psi.

the engine can handle more if you destroke it (put a 2.8L crank in it) and thus lower the compression ratio. but then you would have to offset the lowered compression ratio with lower gears (3.43 or 3.73 or maybe even 4.10).

all in all the t-5 can handle about 300hp and about 320ft. lbs.

after that, it gets chewed up. but thats just what ive heard. it could be less, but not more. as for the t-56 they have a conversion kit for 3rd gens, but only for the v8's. i dont know if the bolt pattern/angle of the bellhousing is similar to the v6 and the v8, but if not, you will have to get a custom bellhousing made to fit the t-56. look into it a little more.
