Accel 8.8 wires question

Accel 8.8 wires question

hey,
how many of u have 8.8 wires? I just put a set on and noticed the car revs quicker and the exhaust is a little deeper as a result...what the hell? MSD wires just suck or...? 8.0-8.8mm i didnt think would make THIS much of a difference

how big were your MSD wires. if you go from 7mm wires to 8.8mm wires, it does produce more of a spark, hence a bigger explosion (little more power) which is why people get bigger wires.

of course, it could just be that you paid 60.00 for something, and WANT to believe that it changed your motor. but im betting its the fact that your MSD wires were only 7mm.

MSD Wires are nice and so are the Accel Wires. I use the Accel because of the cost and the fact the local auto shop carries them. I thought my car reved faster with the larger Accel wires, but I would never say MSD 8.5 (I think they are) wires suck. It could be many facots, they are newer and they are larger.

Glad you like them, next get yourself a MSD Coil and a new ignition box.
