New ride, any ideas?

I just got my 92 Firebird w/ a 3.1V6 and automatic tranny about a month ago, and other than the exhaust being aftermarket (I'm assuming with the dual outs) I don't think much was done to it. Any idea on what it probably runs now, and some ideas for some easy mods for it? Some 1/4 mile times from some of you would be cool too.

Dual outs does not always mean a aftermarket exhaust.. I would bet it was stock, heck my 86 camne stock with dual outs.. I would get a Dynomax Cat back, jet pulleys, fastchip from ed wright, K&N's, MSD Coil, Accel Wires, a good tune up, poluyurethane bushing, clean your tb and plenum, a 160 or 180 stat..

Yep, my '86 had a dual exhaust also, and it was the factory system. In fact if you put the Dynomax system in, you'll need the right rear exhaust hanger from a dual-exhausted v8 Firebird/Camaro. The v6 dual-exhaust hanger in that spot is different.

Starting in '86, the dual outlet exhaust was standard on V6s.

The time to beat is a 16 flat, by our boy here 3.1Firebird. Don't mess with the Midwest.

As for mods, Cams are a breeze on these engines, as are rockers. Intake is anyhting you can do to an 8, same with exhaust.
