i cut the WHOLE bottom off. when you think about it....1)it never rains here, and 2)even when it does rain, water can't reach that spot easily.

i herd not to cut the bottom off and just drill holes in it... LAstnight at 3AM i oulndt sleep and decided to use some gasket sealer to seal it up becasue i cleand it out with a hose and the whole thing was leaking... i just cant wait to put it in... ALso did your hosue you got from kragen have the conector for your PCV from the valve cover to the throtlebody ???

ok, i left the hose from the TB as is. this intake was designed for cars with MAF sensors so there will be about a 4 inch gap that need to be filled. that's where i put the hose from kragen's.(BTW, the pcv valve is on the driver's side). i'm pissed about my ram air setup so i'm gonna hit the junkyard again and get another bottom half of the intake. also, i don't know if this setup flows better...i just think it looks better.
