2.8 to 3.8 engine swap

I pick up a 83 berlinetta camaro with a blown 2.8 engine I was wondering if a 3.8 from a 80s monte carlo would bolt into the 2.8 engine mounts and if the 2.8 trans would fit a 3.8 because the car has a recently rebuild trans any suggestion or ideas would be great thanks

Re: 2.8 to 3.8 engine swap

If you were to pick up a set of V8 mounts and use a V8 trans it would work, but not with the 2.8 parts.

If you haven't thought about the Buick 3.8...

...then you might want to.
