I haven't seen a single thing on it, but I haven't seen anyone ask either.. can we put a t-56 in with our 60* V6s? Just thinking it'd be pretty nice with a 3.73 or 4.11 rear (that .5-to-1 sixth can do wonders in the end )

i know that people who are doing, 350/383/400/455 engine replacements normally want a T56 when they get a manual tranny, for this reason i doubt it'll mount up to the 60* v6. Being that those motors are 90* v8's. Just a thought.

'85 f-bird is correct.

Also, even with a higher rear gear, the V6s may not be able to pull off a .6:1 6th gear. Thats awfully steep!! My friend's '00 T/A with 3.42 gears barely pulls 1800 at 75MPH, and I dare say he has a little more torque than us
