Ron's right, check out the "how to get the most power out of your V6" but also read the "Why V6" thread to decide if you want to do an engine swap.

Here I found this. Its a 3 series ,26 spline axle, Eaton Posi. (from what I have read its perfect for autocross.)That way you wont need to change out your axles unless you decide to up grade them to 28 spline. Then that's a hole different unit. = http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ET...RD&prefilter=1 By the way I have the 28 spline Eaton with 3.42 gears and could not be happier.

No, We have a track here that you can only run ¼ mile times on Wednesdays called Infinion Raceway. I have not been there yet and am a little hesitant because its my daily driver and has some miles on it. But there are a few “stop signs”here leading onto “on ramps” entering the free way that has given me the opportunity to launch and push it hard off the line. Does not sound like much but is a lot of fun and gives me a nice safe spot to practice my launch. You can really feel the 3.42s with Eaton posi.and 295/50r15s that actually grip fairly well with that set-up.Still need to be careful because the cops like to give out what is called "exhibition of speed" tickets.
