um i think eather you cant read or the dyno is realy ****ed up. 500 ft lbs or torque, a crapy V6 dosnt have enough stroke to make that kind of power. my friends 396 Chevelle can even spit out numbers like that at the rear wheels, and his motor was built by Ken Murry(#1 enging builder in my home town)147 hp and 203 ft pounds of torque i would beleve however

Spring 01: 406, Comp 282 solid cam, 2400 stall converter, every thing else the same.

how does the 406 compare to your GNX? I'm debating several engines: 385 vs. 406 vs. LS1 vs. T3.8L

the only reasone I'm leaning away from a t3.8L is that I'm getting tired of the auto tranny. I know a guy in San Diego that can get a whole LS1 setup for $5-$6k: radiatior to rear end. he parts out and also fixes 4thgens

I expect to do somewhere in that area with my TTA. I've put my numbers into the the program to figure out HP using you ET and weight and it came up with 405 HP. That 's running 12.42 @112. The car should be in the low 11's once I get back on the road in a couple of months. Maybe 475 to 500 HP by then.

Pete
