Who wants MPFI stb's?

Steve said he'd be more than willing to make a STB for the 2.8's if he had someone drive to his shop so he could take measurements..anyone near him?

Forgive my ignorance but what is an STB?

Obviously if I have to ask, I don't need one

A STB is a Strut Tower Brace. It basically stiffens your whole front end and gives you a hell of a lot of control to your suspension & crap. It does more stuff but that is just a little run down on it.

I made one out of .5" steel tube and 3/16" plate. Two tubes go over the engine and one from each side goes to the firewall. This helps to triagulate it. Find a friend with a welder and some patients and they can make you one. About $10 for material and 2 hours for building not counting painting or powder coating.

He's in South Eastern Pennsylvania, which puts him slightly out of my striking distance. I know there's quite a few New-Englanders around though. TomP? Anyone else out that way? I think we should really get this done...

Have you checked out the ones Edelbrock make the one for the TBI or Carb is bent a little differently maybe it would work. I saw a picture of it in my "Next Generation" catalog the part number is SB89 if anyone wants to see if it is on there site.
