engine having trouble starting

o.k., my car died on me after i had stopped it a couple days ago, i tried to start it but it wouldn't do anything, although the battery was still getting power. My father, A guy in the parking lot, and me all thought it was probably the starter, so i had the car towed to my mechanics, and let them replace the starter. I got the new starter, from Advance Auto (lifetime starter) and took it back to the shop the guys gave me the old starter back when they put the new one on, so i could return the old one for a refund. So, after that i started the car and it worked fine. Well today, i start the car for school and it's good, and i start it for the ride home, still good, but when i stopped for a minute or two, and then went to start the car again, i had to crank the car for nearly 6 or 7 seconds for it to start up. That was kinda strange, so i drove home, and parked the car, got out, and then went to start it again a couple minutes later, it started to do the same thing, so i got it started and then turned it off, waited a minute and tried again, this time it began to start, stopped starting (the belts stopped moving) and then it finished up by turning the belts and the motor fired up. Well, after that i stopped it after it ran for about 5 minutes, and then tried to start it again, the car fired right up. So, i let it run for a while, stopped it and tried again, and once again it fired right up. I'll try to start it again in a couple minutes, it's been 30 minutes since i last tried. Does anyone know what the prob could be. Also, i checked all my wires to the plugs, and to the coil, all looked good, i'm kinda stumped. Oh, and while i was told it could be the fly wheel going bad, when the motor was replaced i got a chance to see my fly wheel and it looked good, also the mechanics would have told me to replace it cause they had replace nearly everything else anyway.

could be a wire problem, check all, coil-, battery-, starterwires if broke or loose.
you've got a complete new starter?

yeah, i've got a complete new starter from Advance auto two days ago had it installed by my mechanics the same day, and it worked fine, also i've checked my wires and all, even to the coil cause i thought that could be an easy to fix problem, i turned the lights off in the garage but there was no spark escaping from the wires either, so what could that be?

sure your old starter was bad and not just a loose/bad wire or weak battery?

the battery's pretty new, and has enough juice, to play the radio, opperate headlights, and leave the door open with all the entior lights on just fine, so i doubt it's a weak battery. There could have been a loose wire, but when i had the car taken to the shop they would have fixed that instead of the whole thing, (i bought the starter, they weren't making money on it) so it shouldn't have been that, the thing is that with the old starter, i wasn't getting anything at all, and today, things seemed o.k. too, i'll keep u guys posted on the progress, or if anything else pops up.
