So I've been looking into a rebuild of my 2.8 for a bit now, and here's what I've decided to (most likely) do. I firstly want to stroke the think out to a 3.1 What will I need to do that? I know a crank, and rods, but I'm fairly sure there was something else there. I'm gonna put some really groovy rings on, port out the heads a bit, and put in a performance cam and rockers. Now, what brands? I don't want to go insane expensive on the cam and rockers, either. At most, 250-300 US. What all else should I do while she's in pieces? I plan on repainting the motor while I'm there, also. What sort of hp can I hope for? Any other words of wisdom are muchly appreciated. Thanks.

Look into a Crane 2030 Cam unless emmissions testing is strict in your area, because I have heard rumors they don't always pass.... If I were rebuilding 'my' wish list would be:
