UPDATE! Leak solved, it was Fuel Pump itself, busted diaphragm. $200, shop fixed.

OK yall. I bit the bullet, and bought it to the shop. My frantic posts about "Is it this? Is it that?" (Even my friend said "Felt like the fuel pump" when it kind of did the no gas thing for 5 seconds at 75mph coming from Orange Park on 295...) ..
.. well, it turns out she was right. That "Drip" i saw must have been running down the line, it was the Fuel pressure regulator i saw. i still wodbner if that needs changed, i am yet to see if chanmging the fuel pump will make my gas gauge read accurately? (The last car i had to change a FP on it did, also run like silk.) the mechanic claled me and said "it is spraying gas liek a fountain, it is a busted diaphragm."
Now, since i have the 1) Assurance of shop labor vs anyone that can maybe ruin or hack up my car, 2) Knowing it is a new part, and 3) The guy came recommended, and 4) That it wont smell like gas or leak anymore.. I am OK with the $190.24 grand total. (Even if it was "two bolts and some clamps," we just graduated to the PUMP ITSELF, and not a filter.. also, me not know carbs.)
So, this is basically an update for my friends on the board, and the Camaro is the coolest thing i have in my life. So yeah, i have $200 less dollars now.. but the $140 guys woulda had the price shoot up as soon as they saw the pump, so i think i got an about-right price (vs Napa that quoted $140 for the FUEL FILTER, after looking at the FPR...)
Ill have it back tomorrow evening, and all my gas will STAY in the car this time!

.. Now, grade of gas? Is 87 ok? yes or no.... (I put in all grades when i hadnt confirmed it was thr #$#$#%#% pump.)

Well, she runs verywell. Havent done this yet, and dont plan on it(anymore..)
.. starts up as well as it can with the starter, still seems fuelish unless thats just the innacurate gauge, that bugs me, the gauge.
Two questions:
1) Do i have a "Fuel Pressure Regulator" on my 1984 2.8 Carb'd V6? (Auto)
2) Anything I can "Do" about my "Wavy gas gauge" ? New Fuel Pump didnt make that go away, as it did in the first car i had a Fuel Pump changed in (Not a Camaro.)
Thanks!
