first off its a 91 3.1 Camaro with bout 54k on it. Well as of late i have noticed a few things popping up and im not 2 sure what is going on.

1) Oil pressure is all over the place. When im idleing at a light it may drop to 0! or hang at like 20 or go up and down then on the gas it lays down at over 80!. The engine seems to b ok during this crap. doesnt roughen up or anything like that. although it did a lil bit 2day. not sure y

2) Ive noticed that sometimes after driving on the highway for a lil while ad then hittin stop and go stuff that there is a clicking kinda noise that goes up or down with the RPMs. not 2 loud but starting to be more and more often Its the kinda noise u hear on an old junker car that people beat up on. seems like its something that the belt is pulling in front. Not sure wat cus it doesnt do it all the time. im also not sure if it only does it after HWY driving or wat.

The oil is only bout 2000 miles old... will change it when i get a chance.

I dont really feel too much of a drop off in power. although off the line its kinda sluggish once in a while. i really am kinda worried that something is about to crap out on me. I was told that the oil pressure crazyness is prolly a bad unit. i really dunno wat to do . I guess i should try to pull the codes 2morow and see wat i get. But im not 2 sure i know how to do that. Have to read the FAQ.

Please help. I dont wanna hurt the car drivin around with somtin thats fished up.

i have a 91 3.1 RS too and the dont worry about the oil pressure thing i have the same problem and after many days, cussing and wasted hours i figured its just the sending unit and theres nothing wrong with anything else.
the clickin sound might mean your low on oil, are you sure your not low or have a leak somewhere because that clicking sound could be your lifters, meaning your low on oil, even if its not a leak you could be burning oil for some reason.

Checked the oil... not gettin a good readin on the dip stick tho. Its way above. Would 2 much oil cause the prolem?.. I know i have a lil leak from the main seal or there abouts. Will fix when it gets warm out. Ill change the oil 2morow and see if it works it self out. oil seems real dark maybe its jus done . BUt i dont think its been much more than 2000-2200 miles . i usually change at 2500 ish so i guess maybe it jus worked harder due to the cold or something.

oil pressure is completely retarted now so im not worried about it. it goes from 0-80 and back every other second... almost seems as if it goin to the beat of the music.
