Ok, so I pulled out of my parking lot this morning in front of a Porsche Boxter, and touch the gas to accelerate a lil bit. My tire spins, and I let off to let it catch. I touch the pedal again, same thing. So this time i said furk it, and just let it keep spinning. It spun all the way into OD. The guy behind me just laughed, and when the road opened up into 2 lanes, he punched it and the rear squated, and he was gone. We weren't racing or anything (I'm not stupid), he was just laughing at me not getting ANY traction.
So back to the real point at hand. What is the best/cheapest/easiest way to get positrack?

Seriously though, I've heard that welding spider gears is reliable, but I don't know anything about doing it...

I have welded many spider gears before. I can tell you how. Not a great mod for a daily driver.
