trouble start

I have a 1987 V6 camaro that the seems to be having problems catching when you first go to start the car for the day. After you start it once, however, it doesn't have any other problems firing right up, and it runs beautifully.

My dad and I changed the fuel injectors just yesterday, but it didn't seem to make any improvement at all, and now that engine light is coming on. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it goin on with my car? (I really don't want my mom to buy another one, I LOVE this car, and I want it fixed)

definitely check that code. do you know how?? if not read this....

ok, underneath your dash near the fuse box, there is going to be a connector that has 12 pins. it's a rectangle shape. now, with the key turned to on(CAR OFF!!) you have to jump terminal's A and B. they are at the TOP row, the 2 from the RIGHT side. jumping these only consists of taking a wire and sticking one end in "A" and the other end in "B". (pep boys sells a tool specifically for this if you don't have a wire). with the wire in, the SES light will begin to flash. for example : FLASH (pause) FLASH FLASH. this would equal CODE 12. you should get code 12(3X)followed by another code(3X)and then code 12(3X) again. write down whatever codes you get and post it here. i know somebody has a site that lists trouble codes. good luck. BTW, is you car REALLY hard to start or just sorta hard?? maybe it's just the cold weather. my car usually takes a few seconds to start in the morning.

All righty then, I'll try that, thank you.

Well...the longest it's taken to start the thing has been about 20 full minutes...it just sits there and grinds >.<
