Heater/AC question

When I turn my Heater or AC on, the blower dosent work on high. I was wondering if there was some kind of relay that may have went out. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Mine did this once. Turns out, there was a wire that was shorting out that led to the ECM. When I got it fixed, it turned a lot of things on! I don't know if this is your problem or not, though. Have you recently replaced the blower motor?

There is a relay for high blower operation. Located in engine compartment next to the blower. If you need a relay to replace it with to see if it's the culprit, you can use the one for your power pull-down hatch (if so equipped).. my PPD relay is currently running my blower since my PPD unit is mechanically fubar.. convenient swapability =P

In search of new v8 engine & transmission, now contemplating t5 swap to get me out of this mess.
MSD coil, Accel 8mm wires, SplitFire plugs, Gabriel hijackers, possible performance chip I don't know about.. gotta crack open the ECM and check sometime

Heh, I just fixed my relay this weekend: https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/001141.html

My GM dealer wanted $22 for it; I'm sure you could get it for $5 at a junkyard.

Thanks for the info everybody. I checked the relay and it turns out that the relay got hot for some reason and melted a hole in the side of it. I'll replace it this weekend and try and figure out why it got hot.
