I just got a SPEEDING TICKET! FOR RACING...
The thing is I wasn't racing! The cop said my car is to powerfull...I love my V6 but its a V6. Isn't the power comparable to like a new intrepid or something. Do you guys think that was a crappy reason. I was following a old MR2 and as we took a right hand turn my TIRE (not plural) hit a gravely spot or something and chirped. I wasn't spinning my tires. I get up to 50 in a 45 and settle to 45 and he pulls me and the MR2 over for going 60. The reason for this post is to Vent my frustration and ask why do cops pick on muscle cars..if i was driving a van im sure i woundn't have been pulled over!

 

1. I hate PIGS. Especially Culver City ones.
2. Be lucky your didn't get one for racing.
He got you on radar, I'll bet & it was a cycle cop.
Do yourself a favor & pay & go to traffic school. I just went Monday. Be there & represent/speak the truth, compared to the lies they try to tell us. You still get the certificate. (for school, ask how much is the class, go for the cheapest)
IT IS SO DIFFICULT to get off on a ticket, these days.
ALL IT BOILS DOWN TO, NOW, ESPECIALLY IN CALIFORNIA, IS ILLEGAL REVENUE GAIN.
AND it's so difficult to prove your point.
You walk in gulty and walk out guilty.
Give them the money, I'm sorry to hear.
Please, don't bother to fight, just get it off your driving record, that's all it comes down to. You will not win. If you try, you loose the chance for traffic school. All they want is the illegal revenue gain. I heard cops now make commission on the amount of the fine. Gee, what a surprise

He couldn't care less, unless you flashed your **** in his *****, then he'd let you go.

I know this'll get locked, now, real quick.

I don't know about Cali, but in Nassau county, NY they give you a chance to plea bargain to a lower offense, resulting in less fine and points.

 

where i live, the cops LOOK for us....they tail you and pull you over for the smallest thing to try and give you a ticket...tailight bulb out, excessive tire wear, speeding(i.e. 47 in a 45), loud muffler, ANYTHING....it sucks...just cause we own a sports car.....geez i've actually learned the benifits of sucking up at an early age...if they know you(not in the "i thought you said you didn't want to see me again ossifer" kinda way) you can get off with a warning.....yup one bad thing about sporty cars. and yes if you were driving just above the speed limit and a station wagon goes by at 20 over and he sees the both of you.......he'll nail you, not the wagon man that sucks
