raced a RS camaro

yeap, the situation was perfect. The first day of spring, a high sun, a red light, and 4 lanes of open road (two in opposite direction) anyway, the car was very nice looking, almost as nice as mine, it was white with white GFX, T-Tops, and RS tags on the back. the exaust note was decent, not quite as loud as mine, but not quiet. The guy looked over at me, and when hte light turned green, we both stomped the pedal his tires chirped, mine made a super loud burn noise, but quickly caugh. And then we were off, he hung with me through the begining of first, but i was slowly pulling on him, when i hit the powerband, my car took off, and he got left behind. By the middle of second i had a car length on him, and being that i only have 2 gears right now i decided to go ahead and shut down at about 55-60, i tapped the brakes so he'd know i was finished, and not that he suddenly caught up. Anyway, the guy pulled next to me, i asked him what he had, (wondering if it was a 2.8L-3.1L or worn out 305 ((running on 7 cylinders)) ) but the guy just jumped on the gas and flipped me off. He was a sore loser, very sore. Anyway, i just drove home, happy, counting another kill for my list and ego. Anyway, just thought i'd let the v6 guys know, happy hunting- and godspeed.
