V6 Catbacks
V6 Catbacks
this is for anyone with a 2.8 that bought a cat-back system. was it worth it? how much did you pay including installation? umm what kind is it? and finally. . . dynomax vs. flowmaster? thanks for your intelligent opinions, so that means NO smart *** answers please
.
. Dynomax Cat back form JC Whitnety I got on sale for 139.99 plus shipping.. I paid 50 dollars to get that and my high flow cat installed. Worth it, YES... If I could I would buy each 2.8 and 3.1 owner one to have. In fact I may buy one to have as a spare... It helps the sound, it helps the performance, doesn't add any additional wear and tear, if you need a exhaust there is no reason you should not get this one.
Personally I was just going to get a V8 system and put it in...3 inch inter pipe...Then again I am going to do some surgery to my trunk area and raise it about 6 inches so I can run 2 flowmaster truck mufflers and run 4 tips out of the center under the bumper(like the new 'vette)

The Dynomax system is the same one for 305 F-body V8'ers... the one BrianK and I have is Dynomax #17493 ... part #WLK-17493 from Summit Racing.
I installed mine myself; cost me $0 and a day.
