Will the 2.8 wires fit my 3.1?

Engine: CAMARO 3.1L FIREBIRD 455
Transmission: CAMARO 700R4 FIREBIRD TH-400
Will the 2.8 wires fit my 3.1?
On TOM P's POST WIll the wires for the 2.8L 8.5 MM wires fit my 3.1 or am i stuck buying the 8.0 MM ones??? arnt all our engines the same? Plese help before i loose out on both of them i really want the 8.5MM ones tho. But if they dont wokr ill get the 8.0 as much as i dont want to

I've never seen a 3.1 in person, but... 
I'd imagine only the wire lengths are different. I have no idea why they made two different sets! I mean, the distributor cap part #'s are the same, and a spark plug is a spark plug, so the wires will definately clip on.

I hope they fit i got the 8.5 mm ones and just incase the 8.0 mm ones for the 3.1
