Whats the fuel pressure for MPFI?

im going to maybe get a fuel pressure gauge and isolator this weekend and mount it, but what pressure does mpfi require? Ive noticed most gauges are 0-15psi only so... ALSO..the little fuel pressure check port on the fuel rail, can i tap in there for my isolator with no damage? I dont see why not..

I belive that your fuel pump should put out 40-50psi according to my camaro car repair manual. I don't know about the other question.

Stock pressure @ idle is around 40 PSI; dead-head pressure (max) is 60 PSI. Fuel pressure gauges are made specifically for fuel injected engines- but you guessed it, they cost more. You're right about the place to tap in for the gauge.

I've seen mine ~35 to 45 psi. I bought my fuel pressure gauge (Intellitronix)from Summit Racing. I just checked the site looks like they dont sell it any more. It cost me about ~$30.00 for the gauges and ~$15 for sending unit. Just want to point out. One injector may need ~15 psi but you need enought pressure for the other 5 injectors.
