Got it running this weekend and did some further cleaning. For exact details check out the General engine Tech board. I did a good tune up and the car dies when I put it into park. If you have ideas go check out the other post and let me know.

I am ready to pit the mirror on next week and maybe start on the body parts. I want to get the GFX that go on the doors and the ones that go on the rear quarter so I can get the interior done next week.
I should also be scanning some pics next weekend also of the starting condition of the car.

86 Trans Am w/ built 355TPI with SLP goodies and too much other stuff to List. One sweet *** car, wish I would have had a good enough Job to pay insurance on three cars so I could keep it, but for a 89 Turbo Trans Am w/ Low miles, I think I made the right choice!

 

Kyle,first off(and I don't wanna sound mean)but your pretty much wasting your time with tech questions here,TurboBuick.com will be of great help to you along with TurboBuicks.com,TurboTransAm.com and the rest.There is only a handfull of TTA guys here.

As for your problem,I picked up one in Dec with similar problems.What the car really needed was a tune up,and not just plugs and wires but to make sure all the sensors were in spec(and many were not),these cars seem very sensitive to TPS,MAF,and others.

Steve man whats up! Haven't heard from you in a long time! Hows the cars? Well I got the 4th gen like I said I was. Still think the 3.8L swap into the RS would have been alot more spectacular, but I like the Z. I'm still gonna race one of your TTA's like I said.
