MSD 6A Ingition

I want to install this. Is installing an ignition hard? And is the best MSD coil to use with this box? and What about wires? MSD 8.5mm or Accel 8.8?

I like the MSD coil butfor the 6A get the conectors it makes it soo much easier to wire in. you can go to crancams website and get some 8.5 mmwires for 10 bucks. Or if you want id sell u my MSD 8.0 wires for like 10 buks but id go to cranecams and get them there. Good Liikin wires too.

yea w/ the harness, it should be a breeze to install, we're lucky we dont have corvettes, those things DO NOT Have anywhere to mount the MSD, my uncle had nowhere to mount it under his 86 vette, i guess you could mount it on the firewall on our cars?

Yeah, finding the mounting spot was the hardest part of the hookup for me. I used MSD's harness connectors like FASTRS mentioned; that way, I can plug in my old coil as a "backup" in case I ever stall out on a deserted highway.

Oh- I removed my passenger side coolant tank, made a bracket, and put the MSD there. I bought a tiny coolant recovery tank and put it where my factory air box used to be (by the passenger side headlight).
