89 TTA Update #2
89 TTA Update #2
Well Guys I got a lot of stuff done this week, engine is running fine, but in bad need of an IAC adjustment and injector cleaning.
The wing is on and the rear ground effects are also on. I also got aroun to putting the two GFX peices that attach to the door. I did this so I could get the interior put back together.
So as it stand now All the interior is done, front to back. Half of the GFX are on, well all except the ones I have to drill holes for or they would all be on. The engine is running and I took it down the road and back, just about 1/2 mile, and only found one new problem. The boost guage doesn't work. Though that is a minor set back.
So where I am going next week is on a quest to find some parts to put the front end back together. I need to find Parking lights, headlight bezels, Fog light assemblies, and some different pieces. clips and bolts, to mount everything up. I will also be installing a new power antenna to.
Well thats about it for now. ANy questions for me on the door panels or wing I can tell you all the pitfalls you will encounter because I had some rought times with those puppies.

Kyle.
Boost guage is only a vacuum manifold gauge.
I'll bet that's why it won't idle right.
Find the hose, repair/replace it and that may solve your idle problem.

The Boost guage on these work off a 2bar MAp sensor. It is mounted up on the A/C housing. THoug that is not a bad Idea to check them out though. There is just not a direct link between the guage and the manifold.
