NJ inspection question
will they fail me for hoodpins???
i just put them on today cuz my latch broke

Not sure! A local garage might not, but I have a feeling the state line will. Can you get a junkyard latch, put it on, and then just take it off after inspection?

Will you PLEASE EXPLAIN to a former New Jersey boy, why the ****, you would fail for hood pins?
Because they are to stupid to figure out how to open the hood, so they flunk ya?

It's probably something to do with defeating the original safety equipment. Like I said, I don't know if it'd pass or not; better to assume "not" with the way inspection's going lately.
