Want 200?
I've got 200 torque!
I used a 3.4 block.
Worked great!
And cheaper, too!

I used a calculator on the website for S-series trucks, and my HP came out to be 158 I believe.

Are you stupid? Kyle has a TTA. They're the fastest F-body ever made to date. That means they'll even beat the NEW F-bodies.

yeah camarovroom, i woouldn't mess with the TTA, on it's worse day it should run circles around us. Anyway, my little 2.8L was bored to 3.0L's, it's got a K&N, Accel Supercoil, 8mm wires, Cap, Rotor, and the Tranny's been rebuilt with Corvette Servo, Shift kit, and highpressure lines. I don't know the hp, but it'll chirp the tires into second gear. and right now, that's enough for me.

Yep Ovrclck350 is dead on! TTA's are damn fast I got a good look at the tail lights of a TTA and my 350hp camaro is fast but no match, thats the last time I drag a guy with a tta.

Back to subject the 3.4 HO in my S10-Blazer is rated at 210HP with the tbi.

Well right now I have a conservative 250Hp stock rating, though its more like 300-325 from the times it will post.
And Vroom I will run cirlcles around you, hell I would probably give you a good run in my POS escort.

I will race you anyday, but the bet is you have to pay the gas if you loose and I will be running Cam 2 so I can click off 20PSI of boost and suck your POS right up my air intake and spit you out the tail pipe like the liar you are.

The 250 rating is because GM couldn't let the TTA rate higher in HP than the flagship, the Vette.

Also, POS Escort? I seem to remember that being King of the World Escort last time around.

Its king of the world of daily drivers, but I am mad at it because the fenders are starting to rust above the wheel wells. I mean I can still turn a 15.5 in it and out corner a lot of sports cars becuase of the few little things I did to the suspension. HEy I still think it would take some V6 F-bodies. Though now, since, like every other ford body, it is rusting its officially a POS daily driver.

Ovrclck350,

The TTA is the fastest THIRD gen, but not the fastest F body. No offense guys, but the 4th gen cars take the claim here.

Anyone who doesn't believe me can check the #s for a '96 SS, '98 Z28 and an '00 SS and Firehawk. All run mid-low 13s and right about 5 flat 0-60. TTA's stock are slower, although not by much at all.

That isn't to say a TTA can't clean an LS1 owner's clock if ya fine tune the boost

Ok Jason, well, why don't you tell GM that.

This is taken DIRECTLY out of the brochure.
"...consider the ferocious Super Duty and 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Ams. Fast forward to 2001, only one Firebird was quicker than those legendary 'Birds. The one you're looking at now." (the 2001 Firehawk).

Not trying to be rude or anything, but considering at the time I was looking, the 2001 Firehawk's WEREN'T released yet, the TTA's were the fastest F-body. So ONLY the 2001 Firehawk's according to GM are faster.

EDIT: BTW, that's the brochure for the 2001 Firehawk's.

How do the TTA runs?

I was thinking they would run around 13.8-13.9

I did 13.29 stock, 13.08 with some mods and next time I will definitely go in the 12's..

And just think about my 30 T/A about probably being the heaviest and optioned T/A in the lineup (save the convertibles)

yea jason....ovrclck is right. The TTA is THE fastest t/a to leave the GM plant..outside of other places in the aftermarket (slp) to take and mod them. I have something around here probably the same as ovrclck talking about the firehawk vs the tta vs a stock t/a vs a SS to show the power of the firehawk. The TTA was faster then all BUT the firehawk...!

Stated times were 13.5 1/4 miles, but some of the better stock times in Magazines were 13.1 the worst time I have seen in a magazine was a 13.8, they must have not been trying.

i have read of a number of TTA's running 11's with only a few mods....IMO i think it would be a damn close race between a TTA and a new TA or firehawk
