No muffler
No muffler
what would a 3.4 sound like running just out of the cat....no muffler....I want to run my exhaust pipes out..right in front of my rear tires....so there would be not room for the muffler!

DO NOT DO IT. the cat creates a NASTY resonating sound that above idle is almost unbearable. i drove around my block once with no muffler (right by a cop too...)it was so funking loud that after the first turn, i drove it home at like 1100 RPM the whole way.

one of my tailpipes just fell off today. it sounds great at idle, but i can't hear my radio at all inside my car it's so loud! im seriously reconsidering getting a glasspack muffler now, unless they are quieter than that. anyone know?

My tailpipe fell off my original (stock) dual exhaust muffler. The pipe broke "inside" the muffler, about a centimeter inside the edge. The car was definately louder; but then again, the exhaust was still getting piped through the muffler...
