Who's done motor mounts?

How much am i lookin to spend? They're not too expensive are they? BTW, one of my co-workers noticed that my oil pan is virtually sitting on the crossmember and this might be the result of sagging motor mounts. I notice slight vibration and this might be causing it. Do you guys have space between your pan and crossmember? How much space?

2 inches? crap. Well, i ain't paying nobody to do this job. so based on $60/hr, your mounts cost either $40 with 1 hr labor or $10 with 1.5 hrs of labor.....*shrug* just a guess.

I bought the mounts from GM for ~$56 ea. Other parts stores can probably get them for less.

It took a couple of hours to do the swap. If you want to do it yourself, then I suggest you by a cheap 15mm wrench and use a torch (propane is good) and bend it to go over the nuts in the crossmember. Yes they are real nuts that must be held on to.

All in all it is not to difficult but it is a real PITA.

I have very little space between my pan and crossmember. I don't remember how much but is a lot less than 2".

Welp, i got one done but i ran out of time. Gotta do the other one next week. Real PITA!!!! Luckily i just happened to have a cheap a$$ 15mm in my box...WOOHOO. I did the passenger side and it took roughly 3.5 -4 hours....and this was at work on a lift. There is no way i coulda done this at home. GM really funked up by not welding those nuts to the frame...
