Dies unless warmed up...

Well, my car quites unless I start it, and hold it at 1500-2000, for 1-3 minutes or so. Once I start driving it down the road it is fine, and it won't quite again. I was wondering what would be causing this.

Every now an again (Once every 2-3 days) the engine light comes on (I haven't seen it now in about 4 days)

I was wondering if an O2 sensor could be causing my problems?

Have you checked the codes? There is a technical article on this site that tells you how to do it.

I had a similar problem with a 87 Grand Am. Turned out the MAT (manifold air temp) sensor was bad. If your codes point to it, be careful you don't overtighten the new one. I did and crushed it against the inside of the manifold.
