injector replacement opinions

in these next few weeks i will be replacing all the injectors on my 3.1 v6 firebird. as most of us know from others, the stock multec injectors have a bad rep, and i just dont feel comfortable cleaning the current ones, id rather buy new/reman. i am skeptical on buying these

http://www.southbayfuelinjectors.com...8_3.1_TPi.html

but i want to know. are these injectors simply refurbished stock multec's? or another something else?

should i go for stock replacement? i feel more comfortable installing injectors that are a tad bit better/ more reliable.

Re: injector replacement opinions

I got the GB reman ones via RockAuto and one died after about 300 miles. They were still under warranty and they sent another but still a hassle and it was the night before an auto-x race so I had to use my wife's car. No-one was happy. Now I wonder every time I drive if another is going to crap out. Next time I'd go with a much better reman or brand new depending on price. It would be worth it for the peace of mind.

Re: injector replacement opinions

The injectors in the South Bay link are Bosch type 1's. Nothing wrong with using them.

Multec injectors are two-tone with a smooth body (no ribs).

RBob.
