IF you have the cash you TALK!
IF they tell ya what they have, go lower, throw it on the counter and say yes or no.
I'd offer them $400 for it.
When they say yes, then say include tax, 90 warranty and you got a deal.
I am not knowledgable of shipping from west to east, NOR IS IT PROFITABLE FOR YOUR EFFORT.
You want it now, close by.
Tell em you'll keep searching and take the money & walk away.
WALK AWAY!! For real.
$2K is alot of bread, you want a solid foundation, to just run, NOW. It'll cost big bread to rebuild.
THE IDEA IS TO GET IT NOW, INSTEAD OF EFFORT & $$$$ FOR REBUILD!
Again, I paid $800 for a 40K motor.
I KNOW MANY HAVE PAID LESS.
Maybe a road trip is in order!
Like Indiana, many inexpensive motors out there.

I was surprised how fast, too!!
Here's how I help ya better!
My friend at
www.kayauto.com
Told me that they sell remanufactured engines from AC DELCO division.
NOW, I put out the word I want a reman'd 3.4 long block.
Let's see what he does.
I told him I would be able to move a few if his price was right.
My price range.
I paid $800 for a 40K motor
I know others have paid less (especially in Indiana!).
I know NEW they go for $1700.
I told him to beat that, throw in a warranty and I can move a few.
PLUS one has to go to Oswego, NY!
Give me a bit or go to
www.kayauto.com
and leave a message for SAUL FELIX (put Saul's name in the subject line!).
Tell him Karl with a 1974 Corvette & 1968 Camaro sent ya!
You want to do business!
THIS OPTION MAY BE A GOOD ONE.
We'll both find out!
And so may many others!!
I asked him how many can he get!
You offer to send US Post Office Money Order, it's as good as GOLD!
Better than a credit card!
