Theory vs Real Life: Anyone use octane boost at the track?

Theory vs Real Life: Anyone use octane boost at the track?

I'm wondering if anybody noticed an improvement with only octane boost at the racetrack. Like, did anyone do a run with normal gas, then dump in some octane boost, then do another quicker run?

Theory says our cars won't benefit from octane boost, but I wonder what the "real life" deal is.

i did notice a big improvement in my old car when i put a bottle of stp octane boost in it.

Good Snake oil.... They say 3 points or 10 points, but it is like you take 89 octance and amke it 89.9 now.... That is what I am told.. I have used it to no gain.. I rater run 89 at the track and only have 3-5 galons in the car..

Nah... forget that stuff it never does anything you can tell... for the track, 110 octane race fuel.. found at selected texaco stations
